FAQ

How does the process work?

We will meet with you at your home to view and measure the space or if you have scaled drawings available, we can meet at our office. We will ask you several questions to get a sense of the look and requirements that you wish to have incorporated into the kitchen or cabinets. Preparing a wish list and having a rough idea of the appliances you are planning to use is helpful. Following the initial meeting, we will then take a week or two to prepare design ideas and a quotation for you. We will meet again to review the proposals and will then continue to work with you in achieving the perfect design to suit your needs and budget.

Do you do re-finishing or re-facing of existing cabinetry?

We do not like to get into re-finishing or re-facing as this process is very time consuming and there are specialized companies who strictly deal with this type of work. We prefer to concentrate on our area of expertise which is providing new cabinetry.

Do you take care of the general contracting for the renovation?

No, we do not. We do however have a few reputable contractors that we gladly recommend to take care of the construction, electrical, plumbing and other renovation requirements.

How long does the process take?

From the date the order is finalized, generally 6-8 weeks is required, but this can vary on the size of the job and amount of work we have in the shop

How long does the installation take?

For an average kitchen, a day usually covers the bulk of the installation. If the kitchen or job is large and complex, sometimes two or more days will be required.

How far will you travel?

Most of the work we do is within Southern Ontario, especially the Guelph, Kitchener and Cambridge areas, but we will travel outside of this area too.

Do you build custom made cabinetry or is it modular?

Custom made. All of our cabinets are manufactured to your specific requirements. You are not limited to any specific size, style or colour.
